Weekly live writing sessions + a subscriber chat for accountability and connection

Writing a book can be a lonely process, but it doesn’t have to be. It’s one of the main reasons I started a Substack in the first place: to connect with other writers. To share my process so that others could relate to it and feel less alone in their own journey.

And now I’m taking it a step further.

I’m starting a paid membership for other writers centered around community. I’m building a place where we can meet one another, hold each other accountable, ask questions/get advice, and just be there for each other throughout the chaotic process of writing a book. Because having others who get what it’s like makes allll the difference.

For only $5 a month (or $50 a year), you’ll get access to:

• Live weekly writing sessions

  • What: For one hour a week, you’ll have the opportunity to write alongside others and connect in the Substack live chat. These sessions are great for accountability!

  • When: Every Monday night at 9 pm EST. For weeks where I have to change the day/time, I will send out a message in the paid subscriber chat. Our first writing session will be Monday, July 27th at 9 pm EST (tomorrow).

• Paid subscriber chat

  • What: A place for writers to connect. Twice a week, I will send a thread in the paid subscriber chat designed to spark conversation between writers. One thread will be focused on accountability, where we’ll check in on our writing progress from the previous week and set writing goals for the upcoming week. The other will be focused on another writing-related topic, such as a monthly introductory thread to meet other writers and learn about their WIPs, or a monthly promo thread to share about any writing-related projects you want to promote (such as a published novel, Substack article, or digital course).

  • When: Every Sunday and Thursday morning at 9 am EST. The first chat will be posted Sunday, July 26th (today)!
