Good luck. I did the same two years ago although my experiment was quitting my day job and jumping in with both feet. It’s a heck of a grind and some months are better than others. Once you past the two year mark it gets a little better.
This feels so honest and encouraging. I love the reminder that building a creative life doesn’t have to look tidy to be real.
I am living my dream career now! I am a book coach and editor. The cycles of feast and famine are real thought - I wish I could find a way to be more consistent.

I love this so much. On the "digital products" side, I've had success offering things like a digital outline to help people write their first novel. It took a day or two to make, but now it's on my website forever, quietly making a few sales here and there. Digital products is definitely something I want to explore more in the future!
Hope your journey leads you to your happy destination! I have the same desire, my a bit trickier since I work in another field full-time. Gonna be a lot of late-night writing, but here's hoping I eventually get to make dollars from my passion too!
